What To Do When Bored During the Coronavirus Outbreak

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, schools, buildings, and activities are all getting shut down.  Families around the world are all facing the lockdown.  As everything is getting canceled, there is not a wide variety of things to do, creating boredom.  It may be frustrating with nowhere to go, and instead of continuously staying bored, here are three ways to spark some optimism and happiness during this situation.

1. Read Books

It is always to difficult to find the opportunity to find to sit down, and read.  Now there is the coronavirus outbreak, being stuck at hope offers plenty of time to read.  Read any genre, just make sure you enjoy reading it:)  Try reading newspapers, or books you already have at home to avoid going out to public libraries.

2. Take Walks and Bike Rides

Going outside is important for exercise and taking walks or bike rides is a great way to avoid cabin fever.  Just make sure while walking or biking, you keep distance between others, and do not go to places that may have large crowds.  Try taking a small walk or bike ride instead, around your neighborhood.

3. Play Games

From board games to video games, games are all fun to play, and it definitely gets rid of boredom.  Remember to stay safe while playing games, and maintain distance from others.

Hopefully, these three ways will help you stay positive during the coronavirus outbreak.  Other activities to do including baking, journaling, cooking, and crafting could also potentially help deal with boredom.  As always, wash your hands, and stay healthy!
