Brushing Your Teeth Is Really Important

Brushing your teeth is really important. If you don’t, people will start avoiding you because your mouth will smell pretty bad. Gross! Your teeth may also get black and dirty with cavities and plaque. You might want to go to a dentist if that happens to your teeth. It can get worse and you may get some serious issues that can kill you. For example, if you don’t brush your teeth in the morning, you can lose your permanent teeth It can also give your teeth cavities. Cavities are tiny holes and openings in your mouth, which is really bad for your teeth. Here is what’s going to happen when you do not brush your teeth.

 

What happens

When you don’t brush your teeth, slowly, plaque will start to build up in your teeth. Plaque is this black or yellow stuff that is really sticky and hard to get off . Within a few days, your teeth will start to turn yellow and become really stinky, and people will most likely not come near you. It can also cause tooth decay (also known as cavities), which are permanently damaged area in your teeth that soon become tiny holes. The cause of cavities are snacking, sipping sugary drinks, and poor teeth cleaning. If you have a lot of cavities in your mouth, then you will most likely get a gum disease called Gingivitis. If you don’t brush your teeth for a very long time, then a lot of bad things will happen to your teeth. Your permanent teeth will soon become loose and fall out. The places where you have cavities will create pockets and food will et stuck in there.  Yuck!

  • Sour Candy
  • Bread
  • Alcohol
  • Carbonated Drinks
  • Ice
  • Citrus
  • Potato Chips
  • Dried Fruit

If you avoid eating these types of food on a daily basis, then you won’t damage your teeth. It’s okay to eat these once in a while, but not everyday. If you do, then it will damage your teeth.
