How Coronavirus Has Been Changing The World

What is the Coronavirus

Recently, a new virus has started infecting humans. This virus has many names, such as the novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, and COVID-19. This virus mutated from a common virus found in bats, to a severe respiratory syndrome, that is causing fatalities around the world. This virus originally comes from Wuhan, China, where it passed quickly, infecting other countries. Later, the virus was classified as a worldwide pandemic, and places shut down schools, and many other gathering locations. Since then, the world has been changing. Some for the worse, and some for the better.

Pollution Levels

Look outside. What do you see? Is it a clear night sky, with bright stars glistening, or is it a blue, morning sky, with the sun shining? Because of coronavirus, people all over the world have been forced into quarantine, to ensure the medical safety of them and their families. Many non-essential businesses have closed too. That includes factories and power-plants. Those two fields of operation are usually the reason to pollution around the world, which is why you see clear skies now. Even the most polluted countries and states, such as India, China, and more, now see blue skies, great air quality, and no haze!

Family Time

Normally, most families are normally in one place or the other, doing this or that, and they never get to spend time with each other. But now, since everyone is stuck at home, they get to spend some quality time. You won’t realize how much you actually love your family until then. Have some dinner, watch a movie (at home please), or play a board game! Trust me, you’ll love it!

Technology

Since schools and workplaces closed, people have been resorting to online meeting platforms such as WebEx, or Zoom. This presented many problems, because of the nationwide use. As a result, parents and kids have been figuring out ways to overcome these technology errors, and getting better at using devices. For example, I always have a problem when logging on to my Zoom classes, but I figured out a way to get on. Get ready to get technologically savvy!

Enough Good Things For You?

Yes, the coronavirus situation might be mostly dark, but as you hopefully see now, there are rays of light. So instead of taking coronavirus as a threat, take it as a reminder. We have to make time for our families, be aware of our environment, and learn new things. As a majority, coronavirus is bad. Really bad. But the point is, it’s helping all of us. So remember that, and stay healthy! Also, if you would like to read other blogs related to this virus, click on the buttons below.
