Everyone is talking about Google Home and Amazon Echo. They both have great features, amazing voices, and fun games to play for both kids and adults. Who will win this grand fight between Google Home and Amazon Echo?

Google Home

Google Home is a small cylinder shaped assistant and finds answers for you. You can by a Google Home for $79 and there are other Google Assistants that you can by too. There is a Google Home Mini, Google Hub, and much more. And when you speak, Google Home talks in either a nice female voice or male voice.

Amazon Echo

Amazon Echo is a tall cylinder assistant and is usually used for playing music. Amazon Echo can be bought along with echo buttons to play games with. You can buy an Amazon Echo for $99 and you can buy other Amazon Assistants too. There are Amazon Echo Shows, Amazon Echo Generations, and much more.

Features

There are lots of features on both Amazon Echo and Google Home. Amazon Echo and Google Home can both play music on Spotify, Pandora, and Tuleln Radio. They also have 2 voice-related features.

Games

Although Amazon Echo and Google Home are used for giving answers and playing the news and music, they also have fun games for kids and adults to play. They both have trivia educational games. They also have Mad Libs, Crystal Ball, and Jeopardy.

 Learning Intelligence

Google Home and Amazon Echo can answer any equation. With their intelligence, they can answer from easy 1st grade math to really hard equations!!!!!! (For kids, they can use this for learning)

1. Weather Forecast

Let’s say it’s a sunny day. You’re wondering if it’s going to rain today. Ask Amazon Echo or Google Home! They can answer that for you. Problem Solved! You can see that both Amazon Echo and Google Home can tell the weather for you! I pretty much use this feature every day.

2. Reminders

Let’s say if your Mom or Dad gave you a particular chore to do after 5 or 10 minutes, there is a chance that you may forget. I usually ask Google Home to remind me. This is also helpful for parents when they are cooking if they need to turn off the stove after a few minutes.

3. News

More than anyone my Dad uses Google Home to listen to the latest NPR news. While having tea or coffee he asks Google Home to read the news and we all listen if it’s appropriate.

4. Fun Facts

Let’s say if we are discussing Geography or politics and we are not sure who is correct, we ask Google and in a second you will get an answer. It could be a funny question or a real question where you are not sure of the answer for.

5. Games

When I am a bit bored at home, I play games with Google Home. Amazon Echo and Google Home have plenty of game options for Kids.

6. Meanings of a difficult word (Dictionary)

I use Google Home a lot when I don’t know the meaning of a difficult word I come across. Instead of opening a dictionary or searching online for it, Google Home or Alexa can give you an immediate answer at times with some examples.
