While visiting my family in North Carolina, we went to Wet’n Wild. It’s an average water park with all of the basic water park rides.
There are multiple waterslides and of course the infamous wave pool. There are also lots of fun rides for kids like the Soak Zone and Splash Island. In my opinion their scariest and most fun slide was the “Daredevil Drop”(sounds like one of the rides at Camelback Resort). It’s a body slide that drops you 76 ft down an almost vertical chute giving you the feeling that you’re falling. It was over in 5 seconds but those few seconds were scary. So if you’re scared of heights this is definitely not the ride for you. Unfortunately before we were able to go on all of the rides the weather took a nasty turn so the park temporarily closed. But all in all it was a fun day!
