Before trampolines were invented people had rocks and spring boards, rocks weren’t really fun to jump on and spring boards were just dangerous. So then to fix this controversial issue a guy named George Nissan stepped up and invented the trampoline. Eventually people got bored of trampolines so a bunch of other people opened up trampoline parks. Well something like that.

I just happened to go to Sky Zone last Monday with my friend and it’s quite possible that I left my feet there. They refused to leave, it was incredible, beyond incredible actually! We went for one hour which in my opinion was a very reasonable amount of time to spend there. One of the first things that they do when you go to Sky Zone is give you a pair of Sky Socks. The grips on the sky socks are what keep your feet from slipping on the trampolines (at least I think that’s what they are used for). Then you get to take off your shoes, put them in a locker or on the rack, and all that good stuff.
Finally at that point when you just can’t contain your patience any longer, you get to go on the trampolines! In Sky Zone everyone gets their own trampoline square and you can’t have more then one person on a square. Even with that rule Sky Zone was still pretty awesome. The trampoline squares are probably bigger than you would have expected . They also have trampoline walls. The walls weren’t that bouncy; they were actually a little scary. But once you got used to it there was no saying good bye (at least until your parents drag you out of Sky Zone).
What will the little kids do if all the big kids push them around? Well Sky Zone was very smart and had a teeny kids only section for the little kids that couldn’t find a square or were pushed out of their own squares in the big kids section. Everyone can thank Sky Zone now. After about 45 min I was tired of jumping. Thankfully Sky Zone had a Foam Zone (life saver).
In my opinion the Foam Zone was just as much fun as the Trampolines. I mean what’s not to like in jumping off a trampoline into a huge pit of fluffiness thats nearly impossible to get out of at will? Maybe this seems scary to you at first but once you try it, it won’t seem bad at all. But like many other people, I can’t do a flip. So my failed tries in the Foam Zone ended up to be a mix of a jump, a roll, and a pathetic backwards dive.
Sky Zone also has a Sky Slam area which is technically dunking a ball into a hoop while you’re on a trampoline. That seemed really fun but due to the extremely long lines (9 people in each) my friend and I decided not to go there. Sky Zone even had a Ultimate Dodge Ball activity but my friend and I were chickens and were scared to death of getting pummeled by balls so we ended up not going there. Yeah…
Overall I think Sky Zone was one of the highlights of my spring break, and I recommend it to all ages! If you plan on going I also highly recommend the 60 minute package.
