Sonny Jurgensen is number four on my list because he is good but not as good as some of the other players. To be a good player you need to be athletic be really elusive. That is what Sonny Jurgensen was he was a really elusive payer and that is why he was a really good player for the Washington Redskins.

John Riggins would be the third best redskin player on my list. He would be there because Riggins is a very tough guy and can plow through people easily. Riggins isn’t exactly the fast type of running back but he can ram into people. What the team needs is a good running back and that’s what he is. That is why John Riggins is the third best redskin on my team.
2. Darrel Green
I would pick Darrel Green as the number two player in Redskins history because he is one of the fastest players. He could chase the player that was about to make a touchdown from really far away like the thirty yard line and tackle them before they could score. Darrel Green can also play really good defense and knows how to intercept passes. That is why I would pick Darrel Green as the second best redskins player.

Finally, Sammy Baugh is the number one best player in Redskins history because he could play pretty much every position, not to mention he was great at all of them. How awesome would it be to have punter, quarterback, cornerback, and a wide receiver all as one person on your team! That is why I would rate Sammy Baugh (“Slingin Sammy”) as number one best football player in Redskins history.
