By now, many of you have heard of the new animated film, Sing. This is due to all the advertisements and the hilarious trailers! I just watched this movie yesterday and I loved it. Sing is definitely a family oriented film. A shout out to all of the music lovers out there, this is definitely the movie for you!
Sing it Loud!
This movie is all about a koala named Buster Moon and his attempts at making his once-marvelous theater great again. Buster lives, eats, and breathes show business and he loves his theater above all else. But what happens when hard times catches up to him and his theater?
Buster is a very optimistic koala and is willing to do anything in order to save and preserve his most precious jewel. But he has no money, no investors, a bad history with the bank, and on top of that a ruined reputation.
None of his productions were ever great hits, and people always told him that he should just give up. But buster follows his heart and strives to perpetuate his theater.
He takes one last leap of faith and decides to produce the world’s best singing competition. Featuring real and live talent from real people, just what the audience wants to see. Remember how I said that he had no money and the banks refused to fund him?
Well he only had a total of 1,000 dollars and planned to use that as prize money for the competition. But due to some mishap, the flyers said that the prize was 100,000 dollars instead! The next morning after the word got around, he had an enormous crowd waiting in line for auditions. I wonder why?
He holds an audition and the five contestants are…. you have to find out when you watch the movie! What could possibly go wrong now? he still needs the prize money, but how will he get it? He hopes this production can save his theater, but will it?
