Why You Can’t Bring Liquids On A Plane

Introduction

My family recently went on a trip to Canada. When we got to the airport and went to security, the security guard wouldn’t let my family bring a 100 milliliter water bottle on the flight. We decided to chug it, but after we went through security, I was still wondering why we couldn’t bring it.

What You Have to Do When You Reach Security At The Airport

You have to store your liquids in a 1-liter, clear plastic bag. Even if you store any carry-on liquid like gels or medicine less than 100 millilitres of water in a 300 millilitres container, it still violates the law. You also have to leave your gel filled toys or snow globes behind if you have any. Drugs, lotions, sunscreens are also included in this rule.

Why Can’t You Bring Liquids On The Plane?🤔

The reason why you can’t bring liquids on the plane is because terrorists around the world plan an explosion occurring on the plane. All they have to do is pour hydrogen peroxide (H202) into a 100 milliliter bottle of water. Then they mix it with orange powder to make it look like a regular pop drink. Finally they combine their liquids with common hair bleach to set the explosion off. In 2014, Russian authorities reported that a female terrorist tried to sneak explosive material mixed with her hand cream onto a flight. She was planning to attack the Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia. The United States Department of Security and Homeland also warned Russia that fliers were smuggling toothpaste bombs after this revelatation.

Conclusion

Thanks for reading and I hope you either chug down your water bottles or throw them away! I hope you don’t get into the same trouble my family got in!!!
