Coastal Flats
I went to Coastal Flats recently, and I loved everything. From their food to their decorations. But something was missing. One tiny little detail…
There were no kids menus! I personally didn’t mind, but my 5-year old sister, was very distraught. The purpose of kids menus is to keep children from getting bored or cranky while they wait for their food. Even though some adults do that too. Coastal Flats would be much more appreciated if there was a separate kids menu.
Coastal Flats actually did have a kids menu, but it was attached to their regular menu. It was on the very bottom of the 2nd page. Who would’ve thought to look there? I really hope that this amazing restaurant will incorporate a separate kids menu into their business. This restaurant really did make vegetables delicious though. For example, what child sees cauliflower mash as an appetizing side dish? I certainly didn’t see it that way until I tried it. Everything about the dish was just perfectly perfect! From the texture to the seasoning to the cauliflower itself.
A few dishes that I recommend are the Pecan Crusted Trout and the Short Smoked Salmon Filet. Another thing that I loved about this restaurant is their creative ways of presenting a dish. Take the Blue Crab & Rock Shrimp Fritters for example. I absolutely love this restaurant, and I can totally see myself dining here again!!!
