One question I get asked a lot when I ask kids to write a blog on KidsKud.com is why? Why should I write?
Now that’s a really good question. I don’t ask kids to write a blog for my benefit or so that my site will prosper. I do it so that another kids like me will have the opportunity to express their feelings and opinions.
Benefits for kids by writing a blog
- Improve your writing, grammar and vocabulary
- Get exposed to word press and other useful online tools, be tech savvy
- Build up self-confidence and your digital presence
- Let’s your voice be heard, you can make a positive impact on other kids, parents and companies
- Spark your imagination and put in perspective
- Be a kid at times and share your thoughts with others without boundaries
When I first started writing blogs, I saw it more as another kind of homework assignment than something fun. That feeling has completely disappeared now and is replaced with a newfound love and interest. I want to give other kids opportunity to write. Maybe it won’t come immediately. Maybe it won’t come at all. But that can never be an excuse not to give it a shot. By writing either for this website or just for leisure satisfaction you will build up an your vocabulary, grammar, and most of all your self-entitlement. Write your heart out!
