Chocolate ice cream. Strawberry ice cream. Vanilla ice cream. Lobster ice cream…wait a second . Lobster ice cream! Something’s wrong here. Ben & Bill’s Chocolate Emporium has a signature lobster ice cream flavor. Apparently that’s perfectly normal in the state of Maine. I guess the only way to know how it tastes is to try it yourself! But lobster flavored ice cream is only one of hundreds of weird flavors. I always scream for ice cream. After you hear these next few flavors, you’ll be screaming too.
First things first. If you ever find yourself in Rehoboth Beach be sure to pay a visit to The Ice Cream Store. I don’t even know where to begin with this store. It doesn’t have one but over ten crazy and out of this world ice cream flavors.
Bacon
vanilla ice cream with actual bacon bits in it! I’ve heard of bacon crusted pizza but never bacon flavored. But now that I know about it I really really want to try it.
Catching Fire
Does this name sound familiar? For Hunger Games fans it really should. This Hunger Games inspired ice cream flavor isn’t too crazy. It’s vanilla, orange, mango, and a strawberry swirl! Sounds delicious. But it wouldn’t be Hunger Games worthy unless it had a bit of a wow factor. Believe me when I say that it definitely does! A live scorpion is placed on top of each cone. Not so delicious now is it?
Ghost Pepper Ice Cream
This name doesn’t lie: “Scorpion Sting ice cream with Mad Dog 357, Heartbreaking Dawns 1841, and Da’ Bomb Ghost Pepper sauces added”. There is even some fresh ghost pepper mash added in it. This ice cream flavor is so spicy that nobody under the age of 18 or over the age of 65 is allowed to eat it. Anyone who wants to try it has to sign a waiver!
I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream!
