Do you want an electronic assistant who is playful and fun? If you do, then Google Home is the one for you! It all stars when you say, “Ok Google”.
Amazon Echo v.s. Google Home
Google Home is smarter then Amazon Echo because Amazon Echo can only answer simple questions. But Google can answer both advanced questions and simple questions. I would say that Google-Home is more kids friendly than Amazon Echo because Amazon Echo does not have any games on it.
Google Home’s Games
Google Home has three games on it. The first one is “Game Show” in which Google Home asks you trivia questions about movies, Geography, animals and people.
Another game Google-Home has is “Mad Libs.” In Mad Libs, Google gives you a story in which there are blanks and you have to provide different types of words such as Verbs, Adjectives, Nouns, etc. The final product can be quite funny.
The last game is “Spin the Wheel”. When you ask Google Home to spin the wheel you will hear a ticking noise almost like Google-Home is spinning a real wheel and after a few seconds you will hear the wheel coming to an end and Google Home will select one of several options. One might be “Sing a Song” in which Google-Home will sing a song. This is only one of the options. There are lots more.
When you download the Google-Home App you can cast music to your Google Home device. This App does not work as well on Apple products as it does on others. Google-Home works on WiFi to connect to your phone, not Bluetooth.
When you ask Google Home to “Play music” it will play your recent searches in Google Play Music. This is good for you because you don’t have to be too detailed to tell Google-Home which music you really want.
Well this is the end of this blog. So if you just got Google Home you have to remember all of this. Remember it all starts with “Ok Google.”
It also has crystal ball and the game show is called Lucky Trivia
It also responds to “Hey Google”
